Paying Tribute

The Cosmic Joke Collective, the monthly artist salon hosted by Mickie Quinn, will present “We’ve Got You Covered, Part 1,” with local artists paying tribute to some of their musical peers. On the bill are Leon Arguello, Josh Dolan, Jif Edmondson and Mike Edmondson, Mandy Goldman and Sam Lupowitz, Jennie Lowe, and Nate Richardson.

Righteous Grooves

Local reggae favorites John Brown’s Body return to Ithaca; the band released its latest album, “Fireflies,” last fall. The Analogue Sons – Lee Hamilton, Greg Evans (filling in for Lars Burggren), Michael Stark and Aaron Speiser – will open with their blend of ska, jazz and funk tunes.
