Dance away the winter blues this weekend with these shows around Ithaca.
Pop ’Til You Drop
Rubblebucket, the Brooklyn-based indie-pop band, will return Ithaca. Led by Alex Toth and Kalmia Traver, who both toured with John Brown’s Body for a few years, the group that is known for its high-energy performances that blend propulsive grooves and catchy melodies. Last week, Rubblebucket released a new EP titled “If U C My Enemies,” the follow-up to 2014’s “Survival Sounds."

Let’s Dance
The David Bowie and Friends Dance Party, hosted by DJ Hipster Dad (aka Bob Proehl), is the latest Dance Party for Democracy, “ a monthly meet up for a cause paired with a need to dance through our despair.”

Rock ‘N’ Roll
Get The Led Out returns to Ithaca with its stellar tribute to Led Zeppelin; the band strives to “bring the studio recordings of ‘the mighty Zep’ to life on the big concert stage. This is not an impersonator act but rather a group of musicians who were fans first, striving to do justice to one of the greatest bands in rock history.”
